Squacco Heron ( Ardeola ralloides )

The plumage is yellow - grey with fine scores. The beak with a black point is yellow at the young people and green - blue at the adults. Bird rather solitary and not too much shy. The flight is slow. Squacco Heron It is a migratory bird of African origin. One sees it rarely in big band. Infrequent in France.
